"Fuku-ari" is nickname of Fukuda Denshi Arena, which is the new home stadium of JEF united Ichihara Chiba since October, 2005. my motivation is 1. to introduce this fascinating japanese football team to others, especially outside of this tiny island 2. to live up with dairy life thank you for coming to this weblog

Rally Japan 2010

2010 FIA World Rally Championship event Rd10 "Rally Japan" will be held on
9-12 September at Sapporo, Hokkaido.

under recession and emphasis on environmental protection,
motorsports seems lost its power and gathers small attention from public.
but i still like cars and bikes, and enjoyed watching Rally Japan since
it started in 2004.

and i'll be there again and enjoy watching WRC cars running "flat out".
last time i chosed the cheapest way for watching,
this time i take rather nomal, half of the events will be covered except
start/finish celemonies.

t

i've already booked rooms and airs; in my selection
a return fare from tokyo to sapporo by Skymark airlines and 2days stay in hotel
during 10-12 september costs me 33100yen, no food included. and am planning watching one special stage per day.(6900yen x 3day= 20700yen). rentacar fare is 19000yen, so total of over 80000yen is quite heavy but it's worth watching for me.

Masuyama join Oita Trinita

JEF united Chiba's midfielder Tsukasa Masuyama accepted an temporary offer,
and he joins Oita Trinita for the rest of 2010 season.
20 year old man from Gifu Kogyo high school joined JEF in 2008
and experienced 11matches.

his debut was in his first year 2008 at Niigata on 16th July,
Alex Miller chosed him as one of starters instead of
Koji Nakajima and contributed for 2-2 draw.

it's obviously a good chance for him to experience different environments
and many games, and stretch his skills and weapons.
hope he fits to new team ,makes cotribution for the victory,
and comes back to JEF like Kota Aoki who joined Okayama by rental offer last year.

away always draw

JEF united Chiba had a 1-1 draw with Sagan Tosu yesterday at away game.
teams with similar character displayed dead lock battle around center circle,
JEF united's midfielders tried fore checks but Tosu players were quick enough
to fight back the first 15minutes. gradually JEF pushed back to take the moment
of the match and at 43rd minute from the left side corner kick Yazawa's ball
was deflected by someone(kudo?) at the near post and tosu's defender at the far post finished header for their own goal.

in the 2nd half JEF players continued their offensive movements and made some
chances. especially at  th minute Neto gained the keepers feed to the near defender in the box area and he was down to his knee by defender's feet, however the referee called for neto's simulation.

at 70th minute Fujita banged equalizer from the left side in box area with short
counter-attack, JEF's defender seemed lost their concentrations at the moment only one minute after Tosu's manager Ikuo Matsumoto called for substitution and Bandai got in to the pitch.

at 84th minute Mark Milligan got his second yellow of the day and Atuhiko Ejiri brought Yohei Fukumoto for his position. JEF players showed their eagerness for the victory and displayed some 10men attacks, but they failed to get another goal.
the contents of the match was not so bad as the match against Sapporo last month, but JEF players needed more accuracy and organized movements as a team, and sharpness to get a goal. the worst thing; JEF couldn't break the dream of saga fans so they probably chase harder at the end of the season.
hope JEF wins next match against kumamoto at home Fuku-ari this weekend and prove our team has enough qualities to get J1 promotion.

Maki celebrate 30th birthday with debut in russia(video)

Seiichiro Maki, former JEF united Chiba's striker made his debut
in Russia premire league as one of starting eleven men for Amkar Perm on
7th August in the match against Anzhi Makhachkala.

he played 90minutes for a goal aggresively as ususal and displayed his potentials
though the combinations among other players were limited because of
scare time before the match. he seemed to get only one chance of header in the
1st half. Anzhi won their home game 1-0 by PK in 44th minute,

thanks to unknown god in russia and internet technologies
we can watch his video only after couple of hours from the match

JEF united slap Oita with 5goals

JEF united Chiba beat Oita Trinita last Saturday at Fuku-ari.
JEF's manager Atsuhiko Ejiri changed his two men from previous matches, Tatsuya Yazawa and Yohei Fukumoto instead of Masaki Chugo and Mark Milligan. quickly Yazawa got the result at 2nd minute he sneaked back of defender responding to the beautiful pass from Neto Baiano.

the first goal of the match is the best vitamin for JEF.
JEF players dominated the attacking third with taking many second balls. at 35th minute Masaki Fukai displayed acrobatic shoot for 2-0 when he invaded sharply behind marker and changed the direction of the ball with his left tiptoe.
Neto Baiano showed his best performance ever with his 2goals and 2assists for Yazawa and also he contributed for victory with many defense scenes. Brazilian enjoyed one to one situations with oita defender and finished 2goals.

Oita kept their style with open game, but they displayed rather poor performance with running shorter range maybe because of hot and humid condition. and maybe read the air of fuku-ari which we built, eagerness for the victory which was the best present for the player who left the club.

after the match Seiichiro Maki appeared on the pitch with his yellow uniform and made farewell speech to the fans and supporters. his speech was a bit too long to me but i understood how he loved and thought about this club. the ceremony was smooth and heartwarming, only my regret was that i forgot to bring my camera,
and my cellar phone was out of order with short battery.

BTW Milligan was suspended by correcting 4 yellow cards however the card of the match day was he. something can be done to change the player; i think the club should choose the match day card player from the player who gets involved to the match. i got Yuki Abe's card at Saitama stadium last year and Koji Nakajima took the cover of MDP at Hiroshima big arch. in that sense Fukumoto was the best selection for the match because he was former oita player.

the result of the match was incredible and i hope our team keep good momentum and make brilliant august and september again like 2007season when they recorded 6 win game streak.
JEF is still behind the pace(2points per game) for promotion and needs to chase hard as challenger especially at away game.

invencible kashiwa kept loseless streak for 18games in record

JEF united Chiba had a 2-2 draw match with J2 leading club Kashiwa Reysol.
the score is even and the result(draw) was same as last august
however the contents of the match seemed lot better for kashiwa side as Nelsinho
kept his policy and continued his method of stretching their strength with same players. one year has passed since Nelsinho and Egiri took in charge of coaching club and TBH there is a clear difference between chiba and kashiwa. persistence pays off.

actually the man who attracted much attention by spectators was the referee;
Anthony Taylor, the english man seemed to try teaching us international judgement standerds, but he couldn't manage the match well enough, resulting 1 red and 10 yellow cards.

at 2nd minute Neto and Kashiwa's goalkeeper Sugeno competed and crashed in the box area, then Sugeno took the red card. Shu Kurata calmly kicked the penalty kick to the right corner for 1-0. JEF united got the advantege of playing with ten men team for almost 90minutes, but they easily lost the momentum of the match at 9th minute with chano's own goal, when kashiwa side kicked FK from right and chano touched with team's goalkeeper kushino.
JEF had large possesions however couldn't break kashiwa's solid defense line and wa invaded by kobayashi and tanaka with sharp counter-attacks. and tanaka finally finished the goal for 2-1 at the 71st minute, ryota aoki failed to keep him out from the ball.

there was another dangerous scene with free kick which was judged no goal because of "off-side".  JEF had some lucks and Chano took the equalizer from right side corner kick, he was compretely free to head at the far side where 10 men team couldn't cover.

half of the season was over and JEF united kept their 3rd position but failed to
make short for the top. next match is tomorrow against Oita Trinita at Fuku-ari.
oita won last season's fuku-ari match and it will become quite tough game under
hot and humid condition. let's do all what we can do and support our club.
victory is everything in this situation we definetely need to keep our campaign
for J1 promotion. we should keep eye's on the pitch where JEF united players are
there, concentration is needed; it's not too late to remember about maki afterwards.

Maki join Russian club

JEF united Chiba's striker Seiichiro Maki joins Russian club FC Amkar Perm,
the official website announced. 29 year old player started his professional
footballer carreer at JEF united Ichihara in 2003 after his graduation of Komazawa
university and soon he was found by former coach Ivica Osim and grew up to the
national team player. he recorded 53goals in J-league and 8goals in international matches.
he contributed for the double winner of J-league Yamazaki Nabisco cup in 2005 and 2006, and realized the legendary great escape of relegation in 2008 season with his 11goals.

maki's interview after the match
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P-9fV6Z-mdE&feature=related

he is loved by JEF united fans and supporters because of his honest and sincere nature, also of his braveness and eagerness for the victories, and of his playing style;he is the last man for giving up and devotes all his efforts for team's victory to perform his own slogan "one for all, all for one".

there are many goals to remember, i pick up two impressive goals in the match against Shimizu in 2008. JEF united lost this match but under severe situation he took two goals with his strong heart.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=agSt8H1jCX0&feature=related
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FWO9x3CeSas&NR=1

i'm sad we can't watch him playing for our club any more,
and it's hard to imagine the end of season without him.
ironically saying we need more reinforcements to get promotion for J1 without him.

after sending off Eisuke Nakanishi, Yuki Abe, Naotake Hanyu, Koki Mizuno and others,
i understand it's matter of time we can't watch our hiro forever in everyday life,
the life of vocational footballer is very short, so no one can stop him when he
decides his own future. i hope he fits to new club and contributes for the victory
as he used to do for our club.

it's obvious he still wants to play for JEF, and maybe he wished to bring the day of retirement as Daisuke Saito realized last year, but he is under 30 and it's too early to quit.
i understand there is a heated controversy about his offer, but i'm for the decision
of the club because it's a good chance for maki to look outside of this club and maybe good chance for younger players. besides maki aparently had responsivility about last season's result as he only made 5 goals though he spent most of the time in the pitch and also he takes no goal this season so far.
something must be changed in this occasion i suppose.

does anyone expect the appearance of Kazunari Okayama in the ACL cup final in 2009 who was fired Sendai(2008) and joined Pohang Steelers?
why you can deny maki won't participate in the champion's league match?
of course it's not an easy task for him to get goals in every match, however at least he gets a chance of dreaming.

2year deal and #9 squad number seemed very good offer but it won't be any insurance. the results are definetely needed; goals for striker. he probably needs his first goal in the first 180 minutes otherwise he won't keep his job at the end of this year.
let's find and see his challenge and hope his success in russia.

he'll make a speach to JEF fans after the match against Oita Trinita on 31st July at Fuku-ari. BE THERE.

life goes on though JEF lost Sapporo again at home Fuku-ari

after the WC South Africa we had to face up the real daily life with our small club.
JEF united Chiba had a dreadful 0-3 defeat against Consadole Sapporo yesterday
at Fuku-ari, it's the first defeat at home in this season and Sapporo continued
their record of never beated at Fuku-ari with their fanatic supporters.

simply saying that they deserved for this victory with higher motivations for
this match and their tactics of quicky forechecks to ball holders.
at 5th minute after the corner kick jam of box area, the ball went off to the center area
and Furuta found a small space and simply kicked the opener goal.
the first half was the game for sapporo, they took most of second balls and tried
direct passes to Quirino which in vain. gradually JEF started their offensive scenes
but it was not much threat to sapporo with organized 4-4-2 defense system.

JEF united players displayed their bests of the day and higher possesions of ball in the 2nd half. they played like spain or barcelona, but there was no one to get a goal we wanted. Neto and Kota Aoki had several chances however they couldn't make it for a goal. JEF players needed more actions and ideas, and longer distance of creative running.

in the additional time sapporo hitted the couter-attacks and made two goals.
there were some mistakes of JEF's defense players but it should be mentioned that
they played well rest of 90minutes and tried many challenges.

more than 15 thouthands spectators watched this match, but it seemed half of them were guests and light fans, so the atmosphere of fuku-ari was dull and it was not any support for our club. (besides i changed my style and supported with slapping hands only.)

loud boos were heard after the match and some stupid actions were made by some spectators. spectators should not drop or throw something to the pitch no matter how the game is stupid and miserable. smart kids laugh at you.
it reminds me we are back to normal life again...(sigh)
anyway we need victory in the next derby match against kashiwa to keep our campaign.

Maki? maybe i make another article after the official announcement.

fuku-ari

you don't have to mind the result of test match

as Okada's Japanese national team proved to step up to the
knockout stage in 2010 FIFA world cup South Africa for the first time
at the outside of japan.
so it doesn't have much meaning
JEF united Chiba got a 1-0 victory from Antlers, J1 champion club yesterday,
i don't have any information about this match but i suppose
some JEF players enjoyed remembering J1 standards without mental pressures
concerning relegation, and some learned the qualities of J1 star players.
no goal for kashima seemed a good sign of stable defense but the reason
must be goes to the conditions of kashima strikers.

only my hope is JEF players notice something from this match and
prepare for the day of battles to be the top of J2.

i forgot to mention that the only goal was brought by fresh player,
Daisuke Ito, 23 year old midfielder took the chance to be known by
supporters and fans. i watched him playing against Mito at the united park
last month and found he played quite good. hope he continues his efforts
and gets a chance of playing the league matches.
